7:30- 7:50 arrival/ morning jobs

7:50-8:00 choice time

8:00-8:20 morning meeting

8:20-9:30 explore time/project/speech & language time

9:30 clean up

9:35-9:45 story/music/movement

9:45-10:00 snack

10:00-10:30 prepare for recess/recess

10:30 dismissal

Library- Wednesdays @ 9:35

Afternoon Classroom Schedule

10:30-11:00 arrival/recess

11:00-11:30 arrival jobs, toileting, morning meeting (library)

11:30-11:50 lunch

11:50-1:40 explore time, projects, speech & language time

1:40- 2:00 language group, unified arts

2:00-2:30 prepare for recess/recess

2:30 dismissal

About Us

Diane Wasser-

This is my 29th year teaching in the Chittenden East School District as an Early Childhood Special Educator. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Special Education. I live in Richmond VT with my husband and my yellow lab, Gracie. I have two grown children, who both went through the Chittenden East school system. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, gardening, walking my dog and cooking. In the winter I love snowshoeing and cross country skiing.

I am looking forward to learning and playing with your preschooler this year!

Marilyn Filak

I am the Speech-Language Pathologist with the Preschool Program and have worked with preschoolers in our district since 1989. I have my Master's Degree and National Certification in Speech/Language Pathology. Helping young children improve their ability to communicate has been a very rewarding path in my life. When not in school, I enjoy reading, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, travelling and visiting family, including two adult children and a precious grandson!

Patty MacDonnell

This is my 20th year in the Chittenden East School District. During the first 8 years I was fortunate to work in the area of Speech and Language at Jericho Elementary. During the past 12 years I have had the privilege of working in the preschool program. Watching the children grow and become independent learners has made my job so rewarding. When I am not at school I love quilting, reading, card making and spending time with my three children and my beautiful grandchildren, Jonathan, Ava and Ryan!
